BioNaomi was born and bred in LA. A tomboy as a child, she would often run riot with the neighbourhood kids. (In a non-law breaking way, that is.) Her parents divorced when she was two so Naomi grew up with the assumption that that was normal. The dynamics of visiting her Dad on weekends didn't bother her at all, it was what she was accustomed to. Her Mother remarried and they had a daughter, Naomi's half sister, Evie, (five years her junoir).
When she was sixteen her Father was killed in a carjacking in downtown LA and this spurred her into joining the police academy. Only she joined the force in Vegas and not in LA. The infamous Sin City seemed like the place to clean up the world one criminal at a time. It was at the LVPD that she worked her way up from beat cop to a detective. Although she isn't as experienced at the job as others she works with, she strives to learn as much as possible from them.
